The Software Manager is a tool that allows you to manage your installed applications for use within the pipeline. You can create packages (bundles) of applications. Those packages can then be assigned to Jobs in order to manage what application and application versions should be used.

General UI Breakdown
As is most of the tools that come with this pipeline, the user interface follows the same layout explained in the Standard Interface section of the manual; Menu Bar, Header, Main Section, Status Bar.
In the Main Section of the Software Manager, there are four parts;
- Package List (A list of the packages created)
- Modules Bar (Buttons to use for creating modules, deleting modules and adding parameters)
- Modules List (The list of applications within the package)
- Parameters (These are variables, attributes and any kind of custom parameter that can be used to influence functions in an application)

Package List * Create a new package by typing in the name in the top field. (No Spaces. And preferably no symbols.)Select a package in the list to see it's modules. Just below the list is a "Delete Package" to let you delete the package.
Modules Bar * New Module - Adds a module (application) to the package. The modules are pre-named to match there application. Reason for this is to have default parameters that work best for the application.
Delete Module - Removes the selected module from the list. Add Field - Allows for you to add your own parameters to the module.
*Note: separate the options in the options field with commas* Default Field - This will add default fields for you.
Save - Saves the module and it's parameters. Modules List * The list of modules for the selected package. Parameters * Add fields into this area with the "Add Field" and "Default Field" buttons in the Modules Bar. The fields (parameters) can be used as attributes, variables, parameters or settings within a supported application. The parameters can also be useful for custom scripts within an application.
Launch the applications with the Software Launcher.
